Personality:

He is in favor of peace and very seldom that he speaks about his past. People who get to hear about his past are considered very lucky, as this is a type of bonding. His life story will be told in segments as time goes by. His views on peace are consistent, but his actions may show signs of deformity. His warped thinking comes from lack of success with this plans and ultimately, he can be viewed as an insane genius.

When it comes to women, the one he is with, he will be very intimate and romantic. Lacking a person to love, he will exert his whole heart to that woman of his choice and will be broken to bits if anything were to happen to her.

History:

BACKGROUND INFO:

Dark lived 16 years of his life, living with a goal of peace. His path towards peace was destroyed when his best friend Zentsu Origama was killed; he unlocked the secret on how to use his body as a path. His second body was his other friend, Sousuke Unagai's cousin, Shin'i Unagai. The rest of his bodies were enemies he had encounter. His path towards peace was then channeled towards his great grandfather's, Nagato, work. The Akatsuki was then reformed and he has powers still unknown to many out there.

CURRENT LIFE SO FAR:

19 and still working on collecting worthy members, Dark is now living and fighting for himself. Nagato, also known as Pein, is inside of Dark. It turns out that he was Nagato's reincarnation all along and Nagato cracked and woke up when Dark wanted to turn Akatsuki around. His goal of turning Akatsuki around angered Nagato to the utmost degree, and now Nagato's ego is fighting to cripple Dark's as he wanted to collect all of the Bijuus and use it to show true pain, peace following afterward. Dark's plan for peace was to collect all of the Bijuus and have the two strongest controlled by the Akatsuki(the strongest being Hachibi and Kyuubi), whilst having the others sealed off in each village. If something like a Jinchuuriki were to appear after he had killed all of them off, he would have to restart this process over again. He is still going through the process of collecting both members and Jinchuurikies; he seems to be doing pretty well with both at the moment. Everything else will be told with time...

Level One: When he wants to activate it, he will(he has mastered it, control wise). It will have no negative effect on his body as there will be marked increase is speed and chakra amount.

Level Two: There will be a change in appearance as further increase in all of his abilities will be noted.

Level Three: He will take form of Chaos(from Dirge of Cerebus: FF VII) and obvious increase in all abilities is present.

Origin:

Dark was resting when he was fleeing from the person who tried to attack him. He was almost out of chakra at that point and couldn't control his Dark Buster Rain Sword because of fatigue. As he stopped at a tree to breathe, a deformed, snake like creature attacked him; it struck with no mercy. He was successful at killing it but it bit him on the lower side of his neck. Looking at the body closely, the snake looked nothing like a snake; it was, perhaps, a crab crossed with a giant lizard with a snake like body? Whatever the case, Dark hoped that this bite wasn't fatal. Finally catching up, the man's figure slowly grew as he closed in on Dark. With nothing else as an alternative, he dropped down, closing his eyes.

He hoped that if he played possum, this pathetic excuse for a human being would walk away. Unfortunately, the man still wanted to make sure Dark was dead. Fortunately, a Jounin from Amegakure was in the area and witnessed what had happened, killing the man and attending to Dark's minor injuries. The effects of the cursed bite became immediate, almost killing him on that spot. Bringing the out cold Dark back to Amegakure for immediate medical attention, Dark's life was saved thanks to this Jounin. Waking up weeks later, he resumed training, getting ready for his next mission and waiting for the chance to go from Chuunin to Jounin. These events took place around his middle months of being 8 years young.

Not knowing of his new powers, Dark was curious and wondered: What are these marks and why do I feel so much chakra when they appear? Worst of all, he felt immense pain and couldn't move at times when he was training. Only when after half an hour would his body be able to function properly again. He feared this new power, yet he yearned to see its full potential. This yearning became stronger and soon, he was searching for the source. This search was indeed pointless, but persistency pays off; eventually, he found another like him. This person led him to the one who gave him the mark, Kabuto; well, the one who had the deviled snakes slithering around the area anyway.

Kabuto allowed Dark to be able to use the second level of the curse mark. Giving him the pill, Dark took it and not too long afterward, he found the ability to turn invisible in rain. This startled Kabuto because every other person who had taken the pill transformed physically, and drastically without doubt. The bewildered Kabuto worked towards another form of enhancement. Finally coming up with a liquid base, rather than solid, he injected Dark with it. In no time, Dark took on the full effects of his curse mark. His transformation was powerful; in fact, too powerful that it took down Kabuto's hideout and destroyed it completely. With the excess chakra flowing out like water, it burned Dark's skin, Dark not knowing of this until he returned to normal.

The aftereffects of the curse mark were too strong; he wasn't able to use both of his arms for days and his skin burned, but in appearance, it was totally normal. In truth, his nerves were fried, and the bones in both arms were destroyed by the intensity of the chakra. With the help of the medial ninja, Dark was able to heal. The rest of Dark's body also suffered burns, but they weren't as severe as the arms. The only reason his arms took most of the damage was he focused most of his chakra into his arms when performing techniques. Being ignorant, as soon as he received the incredible amount of power, he showed off his talents; part of this was to see how his techniques would turn out. His techniques were stronger than usual; his theory was correct. He learned the hard way that great power is attached with insurmountable risks. He decided that he would call upon this power only when he needed to fight back, thus naming it Curse Mark of Retaliation.

Appearance:

Level One: The curse mark will be all around his face and neck region.

Level Two: His body will grow black and if he is around rain, he will have temporary invisibility(meaning every rain drop that hits him will make his body turn translucent, see through).

Advantages:

Level One: Chakra amount and speed increases by 2x.

Level Two: Other attributes are 2x now and speed and chakra amount is 3x.

Level Three: By this time, all other attributes are increased to 5x. Chakra and speed is 6x.

Downsides:

Level One: None; in the past, it was pain, but with discipline, he's learned to ignore it.

Level Two: If used in a hot, sunny place, the body will lose water. The user's black body will absorb the heat and it will make them uncomfortable. Along with discomfort, if the enemy was to use Katon based jutsus, its intensity would increase three times upon contact with Dark's skin. Rarely would this downside affect him much because of his ability to call forth the rain at his own will.

Level Three: If used for too long(more than oh say, 20 posts), the user will begin to lose control and attack anyone in site. If used for longer than 30 posts, the user will lose consciousness and the curse mark will take over their mind. If this happens too often, the user will lose their whole being and will be nothing but a killing machine(which isn't good...). At the 35th post, the user will collapse and lose consciousness.

Weapons/items:

Weapon Name: Dark Buster Rain Sword; in short, DBRS

Appearance: Dark, Rokudou Sennin and Rin'negan Master{UPDATE! WiP! MAJOR SPOILERS!} Cloud_sword It's supposed to be black. Just imagine it as so.

Description: A black buster sword that has been given its name because of all its victim's blood stains. It could separate into smaller swords; very handy for one of its powerful jutsus: Raining Buster. This sword is sharp, and over time, instead of growing weaker with every blooding body it encounters, it begins to get darker and sharper. It was handmade by Dark himself when he decided he needed a sword to protect himself; this was before he had full control over his Rin'negan. He was about the age of 7 when he was taught how to make swords. He finally, through the process of trial and error, succeeded in making this incredible main blade; it took about 7 months. Another one to two years pass and he gained more knowledge on how to whip up swords. Deciding to add to his already powerful blade, he makes several smaller ones and added it to his main blade, thus giving it the Dark Buster portion of it's name. It's features include: overall: about 6 feet long, blade: 7 inches wide, handle: about 6 inches long. Very dark blade; its strapped to the back of user and is wrapped in bandages.

Elemental Affinity(if any): Water(hint the name Rain Sword); it get's sharper and lighter when there is rain present.

Goals: The goal of the Akatsuki is unknown and will not be revealed. Dark's goal is the Akatsuki's goal.

History:

In history, there have been only two shinobies that can wield the Rinnegan; it is believed to be so because there is no proof of other Rin'negan sages that have existed . The only evidence that can be officially recorded as proof is a quote from the manga, Naruto Shippuuden, when Nagato said "yadayadayada"( MUST GET FROM ONEMANGA[DOT]COM!! ), "SOURCE". Although, it is unclear whether they are of blood relative or not, it can only be assumed so for the most obvious of reasons. These two historical figures have impacted the world in a great way, but also in a way that can scar it forever.

The first Rin'negan master, also known as the "Messiah", created all ninjutsu. With the power to control all elements, this was, indefinitely, possible. He was able to make use of the hidden chakra within him and eventually created a "religion"; he worked on his "religion" and gained some followers. His religion became well known and soon, it was everyone's religion. This religion was the practice of unlocking the chakra and potential lurking deep inside oneself and learning ninjutsu, using it for whatever purpose. With this great accomplishment, a new world was born. Some say this world was meant for greater things, while others have bitterly said that it was only created to make others suffer and no peace would come.

One voice can mean a lot and when it speaks out against something larger, it must have proof. For the second Rin'negan master, Nagato, his proof was his pain. Having seeing the death of his parents, he knew there would come no peace with this world of ninja. Meeting another powerful being, he learned important things that would impact his life and steer him in the path that was carved for him. Although this man, Jiraiya, Toad Sage of the Legendary Sannin, was a stranger from another village, he treated Nagato with great care after seeing his Rin'negan eyes. After staying behind with Nagato and his pack of friends, who consisted of two other orphans like him, Konan and Yahiko, Jiraiya taught the trio ninjutsu.

This ninjutsu still wasn't enough to help them fend off stronger shinobi, but Nagato's Rin'negan was overwhelmingly destructive when he was threatened. Taking the blame on himself for having such eyes, Nagato shut himself away from the others, scared. Jiraiya, having heard of his fate with "The Child of Prophecy"(later to be thought was Uzumaki Naruto, but it turns out to be "The Children of Prophecy") from the (--FIX--Great Toad Sage--FIX--)and how his actions would decide the fate of the world, comforted the confused and scared Nagato. Nagato was informed of the "Messiah" and regained confidence, aiming for peace. After leaving the trio with wise words, Jiraiya returned to Konoha, leaving the Rin'negan bearer to mature on his own.

Living in Amegakure, Nagato had the same goal as Yahiko did: I will become the god of this world if it continues its path of war and no peace is present. This goal soon became his full fledged dream and desire when Yahiko was killed. The Amekage, knowing of Yahiko's peace organization, was afraid that they would stop his plan's process. He called forth Yahiko and his group, ambushing them. They were soon outnumbered by Konoha and Ame shinobi. The Amekage soon caught Konan and held her hostage, forcing Nagato to kill Yahiko. Yahiko decided that it was better if he just did and hoped that Konan would be kept alive as the Amekage had clearly stated; lunging himself towards the knife the Amekage had thrown to Nagato, he landed on top of the sharp metal, head hanging over Nagato's shoulder.

Speaking his last words, he collapsed to the ground, Nagato shocked. The Amekage ordered for them to finish Nagato off; in that split second, he cracked. The Rin'negan "took over", his anger increasing his instincts as a killer. The shinobi surrounding him threw a large number of kunais, Nagato using Shinra Tensei to force away all the oncoming sharp objects. The shocked shinobies stared back in awe, following the Amekage's next order: attack him with firepower. As he was bombarded with explosive tags, he managed to soften the impact but still got burned from the large explosion. Retaliating, he summoned Gedo Mazo


Activation and more general information:

Activation of the Rin'negan can only be approached in two ways: either the user must be engaged in a battle that leads to death, or the user must be emotionally disturbed beyond belief. This can mean extreme anger, or intensity of one emotion that is considered negative. Full control of whether the Rin'negan can be activated or not is only granted when the user reaches Chuunin ranking; before then though, the activation will be intrinsic, mostly during hostile situations. When the user undergoes the activation of the Rin'negan, memories of what happened during the period that the Rin'negan has been activated will be lost.

Advantages and Disadvantages in battle:

Genin: The user can only use one other body.

Weakness: When a Path dies, a body has to replace it; must kill an actual person, no NPC's. When the main body dies, must restart over with new character.

The bodies' strengths match the original user's strength.

The Six Paths

Deva Path - Being the main body that the Rokudou Sennin would use, it is also referred to as the "God Realm." This body has different abilities that relate to gravitational manipulation. The known ones are listed below; we can call this "Force Manipulation." Being the frequently used body, all jutsus that the actual body, the user controlling all of the six paths, can also be used by Deva Path. There will be a 1 post delay for every force manipulation; if used on a massive scale, there will be a 10 post delay(ie: Pein used it to nearly smash Konoha, that would be considered use on a massive scale). Think of these post delay as recharge time for the techniques; in fact, that is the most precise way to accurately describe this.

Shinra Tensei: This technique allows the user to manipulate gravity in a way that forces everything away from him. It can be channeled to a single enemy, or spread out onto an area filled with foes. Whatever the case, for each small scale use, there will be a delay of one post. For each large scale use, there will be a delay of ten posts; although, the user can use this as much as he likes, as long as his chakra allows him to without dying. But it is, without doubt, the best idea to use it sparingly, for it already has a drastic aftereffect: shortening in life span(this, of course, plays no part in the RPG; it is only here for history and factual purpose).

Bansho Tenin: This technique allows the user to manipulate gravity in a way that forces things towards him. This is done in a quick manner, so it's quite impossible for the one sent flying to make a handsign for any purpose(surprisingly, this has been attempted before). This, too, can be channeled to the desired magnitude, but a massive scale is unknown; Chibaku Tensei could be considered the extreme of this jutsu. For each use of Bansho Tenin, there will be a delay of one post after it has been completed. There is no known aftereffect.

Chibaku Tensei: Clapping his hands together, the user will concentrate a portion of matter into his palms, creating a concentrated sphere of black matter. Once thrown into the air, it will begin to attract anything around it, making a giant ball of matter; it will smash anything caught in between. Can be used on a massive scale to create a giant moon like object; expected risks are probable, as in reduced life span.

Gedo Mazo: A huge statue, known as the King of Hell(which has the ability to extract and contain all the Bijuu), will be summoned. Once summoned, numerous metal rods from the statue itself will attach to the user. This will give the user control over the statue. The statue has the ability to take a soul away once contact has been made with one of the nine dragons that appear when it opens its mouth. The statue itself can attack only if the user wills it; it doesn't "have a mind of its own". Its appearance is as shown below:

Gedo Rinne Tensei no Jutsu: As implied in the name, Gedo Mazo must be summoned in order for this technique to work. Once summoned, Gedo Mazo, for this technique, will be used for resurrecting the souls of the dead. Any persons who have died near him will be resurrected. In order for it to successfully pull this off, the statue will open its mouth, the souls of those who are near will return to their original bodies.

Human Path -"Mind Tampering", allowing him to affect minds similar to the Yamanaka clan by touching another being's head in order to extract information. He's capable of reading the person's mind in seconds and without need of additional equipment. - Will be used more as a reconnaissance body. It really doesnt have any more abilities as far as anything that can be used in battle. This body will be mainly the genjutsu body. This is the body that can suck out souls with just a hand...it will only be done to NPC's no actual member will have its soul sucked out.


Asura Path - His ability is based on "Body Alterations", allowing him to modify himself with artificial mechanical body parts. Under his cloak the body is revealed to have completely robotic inner workings and a completely inhuman appearance, possessing six arms, three faces each with a different emotion: happy, neutral, and angry (thus resembling the mythical Asura from Buddhist mythology) and a folded serrated blade-like tail. He can fire one of his left forearms off as a long range projectile, pull out one of his right arms to reveal a cluster of segmented cluster missiles, open up the crown of his head to release a titanic shockwave, and protruding from his back is a long and flexible saw-like blade that can be whipped at a target. All of these abilities befit the "warring demon" name that the Asura path holds, while giving it a considerably higher degree of versatility than the other Paths have.
This body is basically an uber puppet and the "rockets" will be dumbed down to chinese blackpowder rockets, or a stronger version of Fireworks.


Animal Path - This body is a powerful summoner, capable of conjuring a massive variety of different animal summons for various different purposes, and most significantly the other bodies of Pain. Each animal summon also shares his Rinnegan eyes and various piercings suggesting that they too are under his control. Body solely for summonings. Can summon all animals, but actions won't be simultaneous. No summon replacements.


Preta Path - This body's ability "Energy Absorption" is primarily defensive, since he is capable of absorbing any Ninjutsu related technique, such as Jiraiya's Super Great Ball Rasengan and Hermit's Art: Goemon, nullifying them and sucking them into his torso. This technique can also take the form of a large bubble around his body, allowing to absorb attacks from any direction. - cannot absorb techinques in rapid succesion 8 post intervals between each absorbion. Once an attack is absorbed, it can be released but it will be three times weaker than the original attack. The release will be in the shape of a beam; the last element that it had absorbed will be released. It can absorb up to as much as 5 techniques at a time before releasing it. The buildup of 5 chakra filled techniques is pretty powerful. Body mainly used for sealing jutsu.


Naraka Path - This body's ability King of Hell seem to be an entity similar to the Death God, although he is physically strong enough to hold a fully grown men in each hand off the ground with no apparent effort. His "Hell Avatar" ability takes the form of a giant demonic head, which protrudes from the ground behind him and is shrouded in black flames. He asks a question, and after an answer is given, the giant's mouth opens, releasing tendril like arms that force a stream of energy (possibly the person's life energy or soul) from the victim. If the person was telling a lie, their life force is completely removed and eaten, and they are seemingly killed. If they were telling the truth, they remain alive, though left extremely exhausted. Outsiders are unable to see the demon.Another of this body's powers, most likely its main purpose, is to resurrect or "heal" other Paths. By summoning the King of Hell, Pain engulfs the body he wants to heal in it and the body comes out completely repaired. This is possibly done by "transferring" the life energy that he's collected from victims into his deceased bodies, allowing them to become functional again (similar to the technique Chiyo used on Gaara). Once he uses this technique he needs time to recharge power which possibly means that he can't use King Of Hell at all. The soul question will only be used after the opponent has been beaten to a pulp and is no longer capable of fighting back. And the healing can only be done once in a battle.

Description: The needed hand seals will be performed; fire will erupt from the hand. The user will then channel wind chakra into his arm, causing the fire to turn a dangerously hot white flame, and the fire will be 10 times larger than the beginning flame. Once the flame comes into contact with the opponent, it will begin to burn them furiously.

Weakness: If the user holds onto the flame for too long, it will begin to damage said arm.

Description: The needed hand seals will be performed; fire will suddenly surround the body. Wind chakra will be added as the user blows it out into the red flame; this turns the flame into a white color, a dangerously hot flame. It basically blocks elemental jutsus; Earth and weak Water attacks. Fire and Wind will just add more to the barrier.

Weakness: Very Very VERY strong water attacks.

Name: Ninpou: Burakkuho-ru (Ninja Art: Black Hole)

Description: As a hole is ripped in the time space continuum, time is immediately stopped. Once the user steps into the hole, he/she will be forced into empty space, forever traveling and finding a location to escape to. In order to safely reach the destination, he/she must be constantly thinking of it. If accomplished, another hole, this time white, will be ripped open. As the user falls out of the hole, time is still stopped until the hole completely disappears. No handsigns are needed for this jutsu; could be used in times of quick thinking. Limit of 20 time use per topic.

These jutsus can only be used when Curse Mark of Retaliation is activated.

Description: Inhaling, the user will focus all of the elemental chakras into his/her chest. Exhaling, a loud screeching noise could be heard, but this is just heard; there is no effect. As the screech is heard, a huge black beam will be emitted from the user's mouth, plunging itself towards the target. The beam itself is basically pure chakra, black and red in appearance. When it strikes the opponent, they will be terribly burned and cut; an aftereffect is also placed. As it hits the victim, any over object about 10 meters away from it will be struck by the shock wave(imagine ripple) and so on and so forth.

Name: Ninpou: Ikusen Sekando Kire (Ninja Arts: Thousand Second Slice)

Description: As the user charges his/her body with all of the elemental chakras, the Devil's Armor will glow a bright black and red color. His/her speed is increased by 6 times; with every movement, an afterimage will be left behind, indicating the increase in speed. As the weapon of choice(in Dark's case, DBRS) is charged with all elemental chakras, it will glow a poisonous black and red color, bright as well. In less than three seconds, the user will initially slice the opponent a thousand times; the pattern of the strikes will resemble that of a star, so even a few minutes after the slices, there will be a glowing black and red star, the opponents body in the middle(this star *). After the attacks, the user will be exhausted, but it isn't to the point of collapsing. No one has survived this technique because of its subtle characteristics, speed of which the action is carried out, and the amount of strikes suffered.


Name: Ninpou: Kamisama no Kashi Dageki (Ninja Arts: God's Death Strike)

Description: Using a buster sword(DBRS), the sword will be taken apart and placed at five points around the opponent. Each sword is to be charged with one elemental chakra(one sword will get fire, one will get earth etc etc). As each sword is placed tightly into the ground, they will begin to vibrate violently as each sword is compact with chakra, causing fissures and cracks upon the crust of the Earth. As the user flickers to the spot directly above the opponent, each sword will begin to release its chakra, combining to create a huge black hole below the opponent. All of the chakras in the swords will connect, making a brief pentagon, but as the chakra begins to swirl faster and faster, a clear circle can be recognized, creating a massive black hole. This is the same as the Black Hole jutsu, except it doesn't send the opponent plunging into eternal darkness; their actions will be stopped, disabling their movements(anything trapped inside the Black Hole is unable to move and will get hit by God's Death Strike). While the user is charging the main blade of the buster sword with all of the elemental chakras, he/she will raise the blade over his/her head. When the time comes(1 post later), he/she will release it by whipping it in a downward motion, sending a huge black beam towards the trapped target. As this move connects with the stationary organism, the chakra in the huge black hole will splash as if it was murky water, falling down a second time; as the chakra hits the ground, it lifts up all water and earth, turning the earth upside down and sending water everywhere. This move may be powerful(1 hit KO, or more like 1 hit dead), but its backfire is deleterious as well. The user will, not only get knocked out of the air by the powerful shock wave, but he/she will suffer some major injuries to his/her arms and chest, calling for immediate medical attention. If the user does not seek the "panacea" to their injuries, organs will begin to rupture, his/her insides getting crushed from the waves of chakra, ultimately causing death(3 posts 'till time of dying).

Kawarimi Kouu Bunshin no Jutsu (Replacement Rainfall Clone Technique)

Description: The Kouu Bunshins are all linked to the creator, which allows for the user to know what they know whenever they collapse and reform. However, this technique takes that link one step further, by allowing the user to use the clones like objects are used in Kawarimi no Jutsu without needing to touch the clone. The user releases Chakra right after forming the Snake Hand Seal, sending it straight to the target clone - the clone then releases one of its Chakra pockets at the same time, causing a brief flash of blue chakra to emit from every clone and the user. The clone and user then switch places.
Limit: Must be a C Rank Ninja, Must have Kouu Bunshin no Jutsu.

Kouu Bunshin No Jutsu (Rainfall Clones Technique)

Description: A more advanced version of the Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu, the user gathers enough water to create up to five water clones. They act like normal water clones with one exception - there is a “limited pocket of Chakra” within them that, after being struck and start to break apart, releases and reconstitutes the Bunshin, making it seem as though the clone “broke into rain droplets, fell and remade itself.” As a D-Rank ninja, each clone has a one “reconstitution” pocket, C-Rank has two, B-Rank has three, A-Rank has four, S-Rank has five. The name “Rainfall” was given because when they are struck they break into rain drops falling from where they were.

Kouu Bunshin Kyuuzou no Jutsu (Rainfall Clone Explosion Technique)

Effect: Uses one “Reconstitution” pocket in a Kouu Bunshin to explode with great force based on strength of Ninja.
Drawback: Can only be done on one clone at a time.
Description: The “reconstituion” pocket of a Kouu Bunshin is full of Chakra, normally depleted by being reconstituted. However, by holding the Dragon Hand Seal and focusing on one clone, the pocket can be made to explode with some force, acting like a depth charge within the Kouu Clone. A D-Rank Ninja using this causes D-Rank damage, a C-Rank causing C-Rank Damage and so forth. The explosion uses ALL "reconstitution" pockets in the clone, completely destroying it with no chance of being reconstituted.
Limit: Must know the Water Release; Chuunin-level Jutsu; Must know Kouu Bunshin no Jutsu; Does not work with any other Clone Jutsu.

Description: Completing the required handseals, the user exhales a cloud of mist. This cloud is spewed out fast and over a wide area, the plume creating a large cone that envelopes all it touches. Enemy’s caught inside this vapor find them selves being struck as if by whips, the user having infused his own chakra into the mist, controlling the water using Suiton no jutsu. These strikes rip through clothing and strike hard enough to draw blood from skin. Although the injuries are never fatal, the pain from these lashes can be enough to drive people into shock and at the very least it severely hampers muscle movement. It covers an area of 18ft long and 9ft at its largest point in the shape of a cone and remains stationary. This jutsu does not discriminate between friend or foe.

Description: By summoning forth his chakra, the Rain shinobi looks to the sky and causes it to grow dark with a mantle of ominous clouds. The air grows damp and humid and the smell of rain fills every breath. At first, nothing happens, but after their summoning the user may call down a torrential rain. However, this rain is no ordinary rain: infused with chakra it weighs down any enemy in the area, sticking to them and slowing their movements. If the user wills it, a normal Rain can continue from there on out. This jutsu does not discriminate between friend or foe.

Description: This technique is designed to remove a tight group of enemies. As an added side effect, when the geyser reaches its peak, the water falls back down as a barrage of water senbon aimed in a general direction at the user’s behest, the water infused with the user's chakra, striking at those who thought they were safe after dodging the initial attack. The initial geyser does not discriminate between friend or foe.

Drawback: This technique can only travel in a straight line and the user must remain stationary.
Description: Water is a dangerous element, no matter how one looks at it, and at high speeds water can cut through nearly anything. Assaku Yari forces an incredible amount of water into a space as wide as a tennis ball, projecting it outwards in a long stream using the extreme pressure, the user's chakra acting as container and cannon. This technique is capable of slicing through solid stone easily and even metal cannot resist this technique forever. However, this technique can slice through human flesh and bone like a hot knife through butter, especially considering the long range this jutsu can be performed at. Can travel up to 20 meters before it becomes harmless. This jutsu does not discriminate between friend or foe.

Drawback: The user receives half of the cuts that the foe receives (Thirty needle like cuts).
Description: Clasping his hands together, the user causes a single target within sight to suddenly find water begin to swirl up from the ground around him, giving the opponent a chance to escape. If trapped inside, the unlucky foe is subject to dozens upon dozens of needle like cuts that shred the skin and puncture the muscles underneath (sixth needle like cuts total). This jutsu takes effect substantially faster when performed on a target standing on a body of water and is consequently much, much harder to avoid. The vortex can be created while on land, should there be a water table beneath (does not work in the desert), the vortex having only a five-foot circumference. This jutsu does not discriminate between friend or foe.

Description: A technique that can only be used in conjunction with the other mist techniques, causing any mist affected in this way to linger on the battle field for an unnaturally long length of time. This chakra infused mist is controlled by the user, the user causing it to seek out nearby targets and attempt to restrain and asphyxiate them by clinging to their bodies, wrapping around their necks and forcing its way into their lungs to essentially strangle them. Any mist introduced after its casting is also affected by it. Yuurei Kagaisha only has a distance of three-hundred meters or so, making it quite possible to escape should you be on the outskirts of the mist. This jutsu does not discriminate between friend or foe.

Drawback: The amount of chakra used leaves the user unable to move until they completely recover chakra.
Description: A technique that can only be classed as a village destroyer. The sky is filled with pitch black clouds from horizon to horizon, blocking out the sun and any other lights in the sky, plunging the affected area of a mile into darkness. Thunder roars high above and red lighting streaks between clouds in a chaotic webwork. Then it begins to rain, harder than any tempest imaginable, as if the sky were trying to drown the earth. However, this water is no ordinary water, enemies under this technique will believe it is a very heavy rain. It changes later, however. The rain suddenly becomes razor sharp, the user's chakra used to accomplish this effect. The droplets lengthen, turning into razor-sharp needles that slice through flesh as if it were not even there, even slicing through stone and even damaging metal should they be given enough time to do so. A smart enemy will seek a way to save themselves from the rain, leaving the area before they are torn to shreds, placing quite a bit of strain on the user. This jutsu does not discriminate between friend or foe.
Limit: Must be a Rain Ninja. Requires that one learns Ochiru Ame no Jutsu (Falling Rain Technique) and Uchikomi Kouu first.


Tairyuu Kisei

Drawback: (In description)
Description: Drawn from the users chakra a huge and sickly swamp, twelve-hundred meters across, replaces the original terrain. Twisted, evil-looking, decaying trees suffocated by sickly green parasitic vines as the only noticeable life here. Everything else is simply swamp; all of the floor becoming mud and brackish water. This mud, however, is actually controlled by the user and forced to devour enemies within it. And devour it attempts to do, the user forcing mud to reach out with hooked tendrils to strike, impale and then drag an enemy down underneath its inescapable depths. Persistent, merely defeating these tentacles will not stop the marsh from devouring the enemy, more being created when one falls.

However, to perform this technique the user must go into a comatose state so complete that it can be mistaken for death. This leaves the user completely unable to defend himself, any strike that touches the user awakening him, ending the jutsu immediately. This jutsu does not discriminate between friend or foe.
Limit: Must be a Rain Ninja. Requires the Wood release and Joushou Bakuha.

Drawback: Other than the obvious blood loss, every bone in their arms and legs are shattered as if they were in the typhoon for a split second.
Description: Without a doubt the most fearsome Suiton the Hidden Village of Rain has. This technique is kept under lock and key, far away from all eyes but those of the Kage's, and with good reason.

To say this technique creates a localized typhoon would be something of an understatement. In fact, it creates a colossal typhoon: a colossal, roaming pillar of twisting water that guts the land and sows destruction with every inch of movement. Everything within the area of this enormous storm is sucked towards its epicenter. Nothing survives; the water is laced with swirling chakra and makes sure of that by dicing through all but the indestructible with reckless abandon. This jutsu may be moved, excruciatingly slow by its user, in order to better direct the complete obliteration of whatever city you happen to target. This jutsu does not discriminate between friend or foe.
Limit: Must be a Rain Ninja.


Sui Tsunami

Special: User must cut his palm and spill enough of his blood to half fill an eight ounce glass into the water.
Drawback: The user suffers from second degree burns during the use of this technique.
Description: Thirty feet high, and one-hundred feet wide, you do not want to be caught in the path of the Sui Tsunami. The acid will melt the flesh off of your bones. After traveling eight-hundred meters, the acid evaporates into a harmless vapor. This jutsu does not discriminate between friend or foe.
Limit: Must be a Rain Ninja. Must have already learned Joushou Bakuha.


Sui Ame

Special: Must etch the kanji for Rain onto the pebble before tossing it into the air and imbue that pebble with most of their chakra.
Drawback: The user is susceptible to this technique as well.
Description: A pebble with the kanji for rain is thrown into the air and acid droplets begin to rain down on an area of two-hundred meters in diameter. The acid will completely eat away the flesh, weaken metal and causes them to become more brittle, leaves and paper will catch fire instantly, clothes are disintegrated, and small bits of metal are actually completely obliterated. The acid will also catch any flammable substances it touches on fire. This jutsu does not discriminate between friend or foe.
Limit: Must be a Rain Ninja. Requires that one learns Ochiru Ame no Jutsu (Falling Rain Technique), Sui Tsunami and Uchikomi Kouu first.

Suiton: Mizu Taiso no Jutsu (Water Release: Water Imperial Funeral)

Effect: Rapidly increases water pressure of a body of water, crushing whatever is caught within it.
Drawback: Costs the user 25% of their chakra.
Description: This technique is used on an opponent who has been caught underwater. They then perform the handseals, slamming both hands onto the surface of the water. Chakra then rushes out of the user’s hands in large pulses, spreading rapidly through the water. The water, in response, immediately begins to increase in pressure, basically becoming “heavier”, making it increasingly more difficult to escape. Every second, another pulse occurs. The first pulse makes the water seem to have gained 50 lbs. The second pulse increases the pressure to 100 lbs. The third increases it to 200 lbs., the fourth is 400 lbs., the fifth is 800 lbs., and the sixth is 1600 lbs.
Limit: Water Release.

Suiton: Hishou Ame Hari ( Water release: Soaring Rain Needles)

Effect: Manipulates water present to form a sphere that hovers in the air. Chakra is then gathered into the sphere and released. When released chakra infused "needles" of water shoot out of the sphere randomly in all directions. Needles disappear into water three seconds after impact. Continues until all water in the sphere is used , then the technique is ended.

C-Rank: A small sphere about the size of a soccer ball , Needles are not as hard and sharp as Kunai's. Radius of Needles from Sphere is ten meters.

B-Rank: A Medium sphere about the size of large basketball , Needles as sharp as Kunai and as hard as Kunai. Radius of Needles from sphere is twenty meters.

A-Rank: Multiple Medium-Large spheres about the size of a medium size exercise ball. Needles sharper and harder than Kunai being able to puncture 5mm of tempered steel. Radius of Needles from Sphere is twenty five meters.

A-Rank Notes :Can summon anywhere from 1-7 Spheres Dependant on Chakra. Radius is from each individual sphere that can be summoned from water up to forty meters away. Needles will also disappear a minute after impact. Due to increased abilities for A-rank chakra usage is substantially more than B-Rank.
Drawback :Due to the randomness of the flying needles the user might also incur injury from being struck. The immense chakra used in the A-Rank version. Requires concise chakra control and concentration thus the user cannot effectively dodge attacks while using the Jutsu. Also must have water either naturally or through another Jutsu
Description: The user performs the necessary hand seals and holds the tiger seal. The sphere(s) are then formed from an appropriate water source. The sphere hovers in the air above the water source it was created from while the user infuses it with Chakra. Once it is infused the user will release the tiger seal, the spheres will start rotating and needles of water hardened with chakra will shoot out randomly. The needles will keep shooting until all the water is gone from the sphere , once all the water is gone the Jutsu is ended.
Limit: Must have Suiton Release; must know Mizu Kunai No Jutsu; must be taught by someone who knows the Jutsu.

Thousand Blades of Water (Chi Mizu Ken)

Effect: User creates a barrier made of pure chakra around them and the opponent. The user then performs the handseals and raises the substances underneath related to their village's release. The chakra pressure around the area that the barrier covers compresses the particles in those substances until they become dangerously sharp. Then, the user is able to control the movement of the newly created weapons.
Drawback: When performed, the user becomes exhausted.
Description: After performing numerous handseals, the user spaces their legs out and stretches their arms out. The user then focuses their chakra and expands it to create a dome-shaped barrier made of pure chakra. This is the first phase of the technique, so the opponent will be unable to escape from the second phase. Once the barrier is stable, the user performs the handseals again. When they do, the substance corresponding to the user's main release, (Their village release) will rise off of the ground and become compressed by the chakra pressure inside of the barrier, turning them dangerously sharp. The user is then able to control the newly made 'weapons' to attack the opponent.
Limit: Waterfall, Mist, and Rain Village Only.

(Grand Lightening Fist) The user focuses chakra to form electricity in their fists. This adds a powerful shock to their punches.

Dendou Kawarimi no Jutsu
(Electric Replacement Technique) The technique uses the standard Kawarimi no Jutsu but adds a strong electric charge to whatever object is replacing the ninja. When the replacement is struck, it delivers a powerful shock to its attacker.

Denka no Jutsu
(Electric Charge Technique) This simple ninjutsu allows the ninja to impart an electrical charge to an object which will give a powerful shock to whoever touches the object subsequently. Mostly this is used to impart a charge to a shuriken, kunai, or other metal weapon, however Chuunins and Jounins may use it to impart charge to objects that are not normally known for their conductive properties such as a wooden staff.

Raikou Nankan no Jutsu
("Lightning Barrier") Through gaining an understanding of how chakra may be used to create lightning, the user of this technique develops a method to counteract the process. This technique creates a personal barrier around the user, causing chakra-affected lightning that comes into contact with it to disperse. It will completely protect the user from lightning techniques of an equal level or lower to the barrier used, while techniques of a higher rank will only have their effects reduced. This technique requires a constant flow of chakra to maintain, and higher ranks increase proportionally in cost.

Raijirai
(Lightning Mine) Through the use of this technique, the user channels chakra into an item or tag. The charged item can then be set wherever the user wants. The item functions like an exploding tag in the sense that the tag can be timed, proximity, or remote in its detonation. Once detonated, the tag releases a large amount of electricity in the radius of a normal exploding tag, delivering a heavy shock to anyone caught up in the trap.

Sasurai
(Piercing Lightning) Through the use of this technique, the user is able to channel lightning chakra through any object and give it a piercing tip and/or cutting edge. If the charge is put on a weapon that can already pierce or cut, then the edge is made keener.

Tanbou Raikou
(Searching Lightning) The user slams one or two palms onto the ground, sending a stream of chakra-lightning into it. The lightning will zig-zag forward (or whichever way the hands were pointing) until it hits a target (tree, rock, person, etc). The more chakra pumped into this jutsu, and higher level the nin, the more powerful and more 'fingers' of lightning can be produced, up to 10 fingers of lightning.

Houden no Jutsu
(Electrical Discharge Technique) By focusing their chakra, the user is able to convert it into electricity and control it, emitting a strong burst of electricity in a 10 foot dome that deals a heavy shock to all of those caught within the area. If used on water, the area and damage from shock is twice that of a normal use as long as the water covers the total area.


Ikadzuchi no Kiba
(Lightning Bolt Fang) Through the use of this technique, the user channels chakra into their hands or weapon and points them at the sky. A plume of lightning will jet up toward the sky above and gather in the clouds, crackle, and then come back down, having gained more speed and power in doing so, the final product far exceeding the Raikurai in power.

Kage Rai no Jutsu
(Shadow Lightning Technique) Created by the sennin Shinkai Han and shared across the Hidden Cloud Village. This jutsu causes the user's arms and palms to become wreathed in lightning. The ninja can use this to enhance their unarmed strike, or they can discharge it at once, arcing a massive amount of electricity into a single foe.

Kenrai no Jutsu
(Blades of Lightning Technique) A technique used in with any normal style sword weapon or the Lightning Sword technique. Crackling lightning begins to encompass the blade of the weapon(s), then the user is able to swing single or multiple times with each seperate attack releasing a high impact shocking edge of curved lightning toward a single opponent or group of attackers.

Komudenshi
(Electronic Infiltration) Through the use of this technique, the user is able to travel through electronic devices such as electrical lines. As long as there is some sort of output area to come out of. Travel is incredibly fast, but it isnt instant. The longer the distance, the longer it takes to travel it. The technique is like shunshin except that it covers larger areas of travel and is more limited by when and where it can be used.

Manako no Same
(Shark's Eye) While not truly related to sharks or an eye, this ninjutsu is a method of perception that mimics a shark's ability to sense electric fields. Because air is a much poorer medium to conduct electricity, the effectiveness is greatly less than a shark's natural sensory abilities. The practitioner is able to pinpoint organisms that produce bio-electricity (essentially any animal) within a twenty foot radius. The technique does not yield any descriptive information about the organism, simply its location. Strong electric fields, such as other electric ninjutsu, are capable of rendering this technique temporarily useless. Additionally, the user must channel chakra to maintain this sensory enhancement. Unless their chakra control is precise, it is best used deliberately as opposed to a constant passive activation.

Nimoitsu
(Overload) Through the use of this technique, the user radiates their chakra through the air around them, overloading and disrupting any electronic equipment around them. With enough focused chakra output, the user can also make electronic devices explode. The technique can be focused or spread over an area in order to block out communication lines, radio frequencies, etc.

Rai Bunshin no Jutsu
(Lightning Clone Technique) The lightning clone is actually a ball of electricity in side a normal clone because the user's chakra sustains the lightning the clone can sustain limited amounts of damage and can also shock its opponent.

Rai Katana no Jutsu
(Lightning Sword Technique) Converting chakra to lightning, the ninja creates a long sword of lightning. Its length can be varied by the amount of chakra used.

Rai no Muchi
(Whip of Lightning) Through the use of this technique, the user creates a long crackling whip of lightning. The length of the whip varies with the amount of chakra used, the whip impacts like a normal whip, and it has an added shocking property.

Raidangan
(Lightning Projectile) Through the use of this technique, the user gathers lightning into the palm of their hand and around their wrist and arm. Once the lightning chakra has gathered, a projectile made of lightning can be fired at the target(s). The projectile is about the size of an arrow, but it is much sharper than a kunai or shuriken, and is launched with much more force and speed than a normal nin can throw it. Up to three projectiles can be fired at once. The technique only needs to be used one time to gather the lightning chakra to the user and continue drawing it out. As such, the user can continue drawing out projectiles in subsequent posts until another technique is used, though each projectile used requires an equal amount of chakra.

Raikou Hebi
(Lightning Snakes) Before the initiation of this technique, the user lays out (or has thrown out) lines of wire. The user then sends chakra that has been converted into an electrical state through the wires, causing them to whip around and shock anything they touch.

Rakurai no Jutsu
(Lightning Bolt Skill) User shoots a lightning bolt out of the palms at the victim. If it hits, they victim will be electrified

Raikyuu
(Lightning Ball) Through the use of this technique, the user channels chakra into the palms of their hands, forming a ball of condensed lightning. The user then throws the lightning ball at the enemy which will curve slightly to help hit the target. The lightning ball deals a heavy shock.

Rairou no Jutsu
(Lightning Prison Skill) Variant of Suiton Suirou no jutsu, and required one hand. The user traps the victim in a cubic square of lightning. Willingly the user can shock the trapped victim with a continuous amount of weak electric currents. If anyone else touches the outside of the prison will be shocked (Note: Like Suirou no Jutsu.)

Raiton - Keiraidan no Jutsu
(Lightning Release - Piercing Thunder Bullet Technique) Formed after the rabbit, dragon, ox, monkey quartet of handseals, the Keiraidan is a lightning bolt which lacks the secondary, yet infamous electric component. Using the Raikurai technique as a base, the speed and piercing components of the bolt were increased substantially. From a distance of five to ten meters, the Keiraidan will pierce completely through a human being. At its maximum distance of twenty five meters, the Keiraidan operates much like an arrow and merely pierces into the body. A technique useful for quick assassinations.

Raiton - Takarai no Jutsu
(Lightning Release - Thunder Hawks Technique) After forming the bird, ox, monkey handseals, the user releases chakra into the air. This chakra then crackles and takes the shape of hawks formed from pure electric nature chakra. These hawks then home in on the opponent, with the ability to pierce as if they were shuriken and electrocute upon contact. The average number of hawks created with one casting numbers between half to a full dozen.

Seiteki Shigamitsuku
(Static Cling) Sends a weak wave of electricity across the ground. If hit, the object (shoes, feet, arms, legs, kunai, etc), will be seemingly glued to the ground. Water can dissipate the electricity, however, freeing the object. The cling can also be broken by someone with strong physical strength or an equal amount of chakra to oppose it with.
