A Moment(Revision of "All in You")

Poet's note: I've revised my rough work of "All in You" and put even more meaning into it. The title has been renamed and words and even whole lines have been revised. Again, I'd like constructive criticism and thoughts from people who read this. Feel free to post just to comment and enjoy!

A Moment



unfilled silences are broken upon touch
with Your words to heed their need
and in silence we sit pondering
yet with sound we hear sobbing
and sniffling and dropping
of tears and hope
the touch of warm wet skin
upon mine own
the ardent embrace reaching from both hearts

yet
we’re colder than ice
older than the moment
You speak once more
the day fades into warmth
colors are brightened
hope rises above the surface of tears
but with none other
than the thought of despair
to bring us down
i cannot bear
the want to help
yet the words that
continue to dwindle
disappear before my very thoughts
in saying that You have mine trust
in return i lay my heart out before You
whether it be left there to rot
or to thrive by Your own grace
is none others choice than Yours

like i have once spoken

(i will always be there

to catch your fall)

whenever i do

i question--contemplate--reflect
why do i

pain
ache
love
hate?
You are the answer.
