Lightning Training

Walking through large open areas wasn't something Rain got to do often and he didn't really like doing so either. It makes him feel like he's open to attack. At Rain's feet Oni could be seen sliding on his stomach alongside him, keeping up with his every step.

"I hope he turns up Oni...afterall we both need training"

Oni looked up at him and nodded. Rain inturn looked up at the sky. There were little to no clouds, the sun was high in the sky showering everything with its graceful, golden rays of light.

Rain showed no surprise by the sudden change in the weather, the air around him felt unatural. The sword on his back start glowing as the static reacted with its metallic properties. Rain took note that Oni appeared alittle worried. Its ok Oni. Dont worry, its just my father. Oni slowly crawled up his leg until finally settling in his pocket, he popped his head out, timidly watching what was going on.

Taking out his sword, Rain noticed his reflection seemed somewhat Demonic. He was wearing black, his midnight black eyes also began to pulse a black colour. Without taking any more notice he sheathed his sword, attaching it back to its usual place upon his back.

Rain lifted his hand to protect his eyes from the blinding flash of light. He was quite surprised to his father like this. It was somewhat different to his usual appearance. Watching as the tattoo moved across Kuni's body, and his pure white hair flowed behind him.

"Father, I am aware of the process and i am ready to accept the clans gifts with honour"

He kneeled infront of his father awaiting the beginning of pain.

Rain could feel his father place his hand upon his head. He grunted as the white lightning shot through his body. It made his teeth rattle, the hair on the back of his neck stand up as it spread down his spinal cord. He looked up at his father as what appeared to be lightning bolts shot through the center of his iris, the thunderstorm that had been generated by Kuni's arrival seemed to become smaller and more concentrated above their heads. More and more static began to fill the air. The air itself flickered as its newly found static properties angry discharged lightning bolts every once in a while.

He was taking note of his surroundings in order to make his brain take less notice of the excruciating pain. At each electrifying burst of energy flying through his body, Rain could feel himself becoming weaker and weaker.

The entire area grew darker as if it suddenly becoming midnight, the only thing that was missing was the moon. Lightning began to radiate from Kuni's body. Due to the repeated gusts of wind that swept across the field Kuni's hair began to furiously flow in the wind."Dad it hurts........"

He winced and nearly passed out due to the pain. For some reason, he started to think about his mother.

--------After a few hours--------

Rain stood up. His eyes became sky blue in colour. The world around them seemed to be moving slower; the blades of grass swayed slower from side to side and even the clouds appeared to be floating, slower than usual.

"Dad what is this?"
