He said
As long as i'm here
And your here
I'd be there

He said
I'll love you forever
If you'll love me back

He said
all of this
in a tone of
truth
trust
love

And i believed
his voice
in the tone of
truth
trust
love

then came that day
and i say "hey "
As did he.
We chatted.
Same as always.

Feelings started to drift
with the wind
Further and Further
His daily work
and my daily life.

The note came
" We should split "
thats when my heart split.
In to pieces.
in a tone of
Lies
Distrusth
Heart-break

Silence filled my ears.
Followed by my sobs.
Where'd we go?
Where'd you go?
Where was I?
Where were you?
I miss you.

But it's too late now.
And you gone.
And I'm here.
And your not.
How could I,
have even thought

That you'd stay?
Your much to like yourself
Me so not like you.
But, its just an excuse.

Was i not good enough?
Did i not do something,
for you?
Was i too young?
Too old?
Too quiet?
Too loud?

Or maybe..
It wasn't me.
But you.

I wouldn't know.
It seemed alright to me.
It's just the fact that..

You won't talk to me.
Send me a signal
a note
a word of acknowlegdement
and give me a reason

For you going back on your promise.
